A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, completely blocking the face of the sun. The sky will then darken as if it were dawn or dusk. Muncie will be in the Path of Totality on April 8th, 2024. This will be the first total solar eclipse to visit Muncie since 957CE and the next one will not visit until June 3rd, 2505!
